i’ve screwed up a lot these past too many years. i used to say that regret is useless, and i’d never regret a damn thing. this past year i’ve regretted more than i have in the entirety of my life.
i want to bid this year goodbye. never see it again. i wish i could mute so much that i’ve heard, blind myself to the pain i’ve felt. 2009 was a year of a lot firsts.

30 Rock has won before, The Office isn’t what it used to be, and Glee and Entourage… well, I haven’t seen Glee or Entourage. By this very amateurish reasoning, I’m counting on a Modern Family win.

plotlines.
You hear a story, and it’s pretty much black and white.
Wrongs and rights cross the plotlines. Heroes and villains painted on the storyboard. Hate, love. There’s a line, and you the listener or the reader, you know where to draw them. You know when to look at someone, well those eyes up, and hate them for what they’ve done to a mother, a lover, or a child, if not all of the above or other.
Then,...
